Nest — Openwork Decorative Sculpture

Tangled branches frozen in a perfectly rounded, almost spherical form — as if a bird's nest had been lifted from an old winter tree and cast in metal. Nest is an object full of tension and poetry: on one hand raw, almost thorny; on the other — soft, organic, inviting you to study every branch, every connection, every gap of light.

The form is open at the top, which means the sculpture can also serve as a decorative vessel — it looks beautiful on its own, but you can also place a candle inside, dried branches, autumn pumpkin ornaments, or baubles during the festive season. The deep, satin-matte black plays beautifully with the light, emphasising every detail of the casting and creating a graphic play of shadows on the surface around it.
